so...i went to jusco yesterday with my housemate...for the sole purpose of having some good brunch at coffee bean...well a week in masjid tanah and tired of the food here...we wanted true western food;-)
as i was slipping into my slippers before going out the door, i realised i have to get a new pair, some stones are missing already he he hee...so Vincci came to mind...i did notice some pretty slips the week before when in Midvalley, but it was extremely crowded and i could only buy a pair! *sigh*
so...after fettucini and pure chocolate ice blended...hmmm( so yummy!)we headed to Vincci, and it struck me, that the school hols is still not over, so i guess you guys could imagine the peps there...it was a challenge to get from coffee bean to vincci!
so there were many times when i knocked into people or them knocking into me...and yes of course, 'sorry' comes out may times from me...but from those ppl who knocked into me or the people i said sorry to, not a word! and sometimes what i get is an accusing look for being in their way! hey people where are your manners? if you knock into someone, could you pleasseeeeee have some courtesy to say 'sorry'? and if someone knocks into you and says 'sorry' the response here is not a glare you all...but 'it's ok'!!!
and if you need to pass me by, have you ever heard of 'excuse me'? all these are so frustrating!!!
you know i think many malaysians have got to improve on this....many don't have courtesy! or rather don't even know what courtesy is...i couldn't help thinking, if the adults (and here i mean parents or future parents) can't even say excuse me and sorry...what can we expect from their kids? obviously children learn from observing their parents, as every teaching begins at home...even i'm not a parent and i know this! of course i am a teacher after all ;-)
therefore, i'd just like to emphasise this to all the students here in KMM, please please please practice courtesy in your life especially in this college....coz from my experience, here it's the same, not many are courteous...
so my dears....
always remember to treat other people as how you want to be treated....before you want to say or do anything to anyone, put yourself in that person's shoes, if you think you'll feel hurt with that remark or action, keep it to yourself and don't say or do it.
*hugs*
